Assistant event programmer for “Hey, We Need to Talk”: Dinner and Political Town Hall in collaboration with social sculptor Philippa Hughes. Lead event curator: Briannon Cierpilowski. November 3, 2022. Hughes crafted a unique event that drew in an audience of all political, ethnic, and gender backgrounds to have guided discussions centered around polarization in present-day American politics. This culminated in a public art installation, where visitors wrote their hopes for the future on paper folded into origami, and fixed onto a structure to mimic a canopy-like structure of various shapes.
