In collaboration with Natalie Bogert, Samuel Peri, and Michael Ziegler, “Rat Beach” (referencing the transitional section between Redondo and Torrance Beaches) is a blend of surf rock, punk rock, and pop. The lyrical content is both an acknowledgement and critique of lasting social pressures that come with young adulthood.
